"Time Machine: Mozart in Prague" presented by the Charleston Symphony Orchestra Chamber Orchestra - Mozart was much celebrated in the city of Prague and in return dedicated some of his greatest works to the "City of a Hundred Spires." This all-Mozart program includes Symphony No. 38, the Overture from Marriage of Figaro, plus arias from Cosi Fan Tutte and Don Giovanni with special guests Maria Antunez, oprano and Martin Nusspaumer, tenor.

MLK Memorial March with Speakers and Community Cookout - Meet at the Hilton Head Island High School parking lot. The march takes place from 10-11 AM and begins and ends at the school. From 11 - 12:30 PM Dr. Valerie Truesdale, Superintendent of Beaufort County Schools will speak in the Visual and Performing Arts Center of the HHI High. From 12:30 - 1:30 PM the cookout will be held in the school cafeteria.

"The Clarinet Revolution" presented by The Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra - A Masterworks concert featuring principal guest conductor John Morris Russell and clarinetist Jose Franch-Ballester. A program including Bach's "Sinfonia," Mozart's "Clarinet Concerto" and Haydn's "Symphony No. 104."

"The Baristas" presented by SC Repertory Theatre - By James Rasheed and directed by Nick Newell is a fully realized production from the 2010 Hilton Head Island New Play Festival. Baristas examines the relationship of two couples as they struggle to enjoy some time on the beach in a certain Lowcountry resort. Screamingly funny and thoughtful, we are thrilled to be on the ground floor of a play that will surely have a long life in the American theatre.
