Daufuskie Island South Carolina ferry trip will take you through the intercoastal waterway of South Carolina. Since this area is ecologically sensitive a portion of the hour long trip moves slowly through a no-wake zone so as not to disrupt the shoreline.

After reaching Daufuskie Island you can either take a narrated bus tour or rent a golf cart and do a self- guided tour.

The narrated bus tour can be taken on Tuesday and Thursday and you must catch the 10 AM boat from Broad Creek with Calibogue Cruises. The cost is $30 adult and $15 children.

The golf cart self-guided tour with a map is $50 for 3 hours or $70 for 6 hours.

Reservations can be made for the Daufuskie Island ferry by calling Calibogue Cruises (located at Broad Creek Marina, 18 Simmons Road) at 843-342-8687. Round trip Daufuskie Island ferry tickets are $23 per person, children 2 and under are free.

Parking is free at the dock but close your windows and lock up your car. Do not leave any valuables is the car there is no security in the lots.
